Why a coffee grinder?

There is a need to buy a coffee grinder for every coffee drinker. Whether you are a fan of demi coffee, whether you are a fan of coffee makers, whether you are a fan of Turkish coffee, whether you are a fan of espresso or a fan of any other type of coffee, you must have a coffee grinder to have a cup of delicious and fragrant coffee. Because grinding coffee beans fresh before brewing coffee has a great effect on the freshness, taste and aroma of coffee.

History

The coffee mill was invented by the Romans 1350 years before Christ and also before the discovery of coffee. with the difference that in the beginning, instead of grinding coffee, they used it to prepare flour and grind food.

Naturally, after discovering coffee in Ethiopia and sending it to other parts of the world, they used this very simple and basic mill to grind and grind coffee, along with other materials. This coffee mill was similar to a mortar and made of wood or stone.

But the first special device for manual grinding in Asia was made by Iranians or Turks. And in Europe, a person named Nicholas Bock built and mass produced a mill that he had designed.

These mills did not remain unchanged and with the passage of time and with the advancement of industry and technology, coffee grinders became more diverse and electric coffee grinders were added to this group.

The amount of coffee grinding depends on two factors:

  • type of coffee

Coffee beans should be ground according to the type of coffee drink. For example, to prepare espresso, the ground coffee should be soft, for Turkish coffee, the ground coffee should be very fine, and to prepare French coffee, it should be ground coarsely.

  • Type of coffee machine

In addition to the type of coffee, the coffee maker used is also important. For example, if the coffee maker is a French press, you should use coarsely ground coffee. If your coffee maker is a combus or siphon, you need a medium coffee grinder, and for an espresso maker, a very fine ground coffee.

With Adrian coffee grinders, you can adjust the level of softness or roughness of the coffee and grind it according to the customer’s taste.
